Civilian training courses are taught at the ONLY 5-star indoor shooting range in Alabama, Bullet and Barrel, located at 3252 Leeman Ferry Road, Huntsville, AL 35801.
Business and faith-based training courses are taught in your environment with the armed security range training done at Bullet & Barrel.
What is the minimum age for training courses?
The minimum age to shoot on the range is 12. With parental supervision, we will accept this minimum age for the following courses: (parental discretion advised)
Personal safety & defense
Handgun 101 & Selection
Private Handgun 101 & Selection courses
All other courses, the minimum age is 18 (with parental approval)
What equipment do I need for the course I am attending?
Equipment needed for all courses will be listed within each course description.
Do I have to register ahead of time, or can I show up?
While we would like to accept walk-ins, our classes fill up quickly so we may not be able to accommodate you.
If you are interested in a course, please make sure you register for the class online or in-store at Bullet & Barrel to reserve your spot.
Do I need a concealed carry permit to attend class?
Although it is advised that you do have a concealed carry permit, it is not required to attend our classes. If you do not have a permit, you must adhere to state laws regarding the transport of firearms.
How do I obtain my concealed carry permit?
